Osmosys S.L. is seeking a meticulous and detail-oriented Bookkeeper to manage and maintain our financial records and processes using Odoo. The Bookkeeper will be responsible for daily, weekly, and monthly bookkeeping tasks, ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of financial transactions, and maintaining compliance with company policies. The role involves working closely with our financial systems (Odoo, BBVA) and reconciling transactions through various payment gateways like Stripe.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Bank Reconciliations:
• Conduct weekly bank reconciliations for BBVA and other financial institutions used by Osmosys S.L.
• Ensure all transactions are recorded accurately and any discrepancies are promptly addressed.
2. Accounts Payable:
• Enter all supplier bills into Odoo on a weekly basis.
• Schedule payments through BBVA as per company guidelines and ensure timely settlement of bills.
3. Customer Payments Reconciliation:
• Reconcile customer batch payments processed via Stripe on a weekly basis.
• Ensure customer account balances are updated and reflect zero when batches clear from Stripe.
4. Loan Accounts Maintenance:
• Maintain and update loan accounts on a monthly basis, ensuring all entries are accurate and reconciled.
5. Asset Management:
• Manage and maintain asset accounts, including the use of Odoo’s automated scheduler for asset depreciations on a monthly basis.
• Ensure asset records are up-to-date and reflect the current state of company assets.
6. Expense Module Management:
• Oversee the employee expense module in Odoo, ensuring that expenses are logged correctly and repayments are processed as necessary.
• Maintain accurate records of all expense-related activities.
7. Payroll Management:
• Manage payroll processing on a monthly basis using the Payroll app in Odoo.
• Ensure that all employee records are up-to-date and payroll is processed accurately and on time.
Skills and Qualifications:
• Experience: Proven experience in bookkeeping or accounting, with a strong understanding of financial processes and tools. Experience using Odoo is a plus.
• Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy and attention to detail in managing financial records and reconciliations.
• Technical Skills: Proficient with financial software (Odoo), online banking platforms (BBVA), and payment gateways (Stripe).
• Communication Skills: Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with team members and external partners.
• Time Management: Excellent organizational and time management skills to meet weekly and monthly deadlines.
Working Conditions:
• Contract Type: Contractor (Remote)
• Hours: Flexible hours based on invoiced time; work to be invoiced on a monthly basis.
• Payment: Monthly payment in Euro invoiced amount, converted using Wise.
